Answers to some common questions...
I would like photos of my child. What do I need to do?
You'll need to complete the registration form (see "register my child" at the top of this page). If you have multiple children they can all be registered on the same form. Remember to indicate if you would like sibling photos too!
I only want the group photo. Do I still need to register?
Yes! There is an option on the registration form for "group photo only". If you select it then you will automatically receive a group print when orders are delivered, nothing further will be required. Your child will not have individual photos taken if you select this option.
How many pictures will we receive?
A full gallery of photos is normally 15-20 images. This typically includes a range of activity shots, a posed portrait and the group photo.
My child is anxious and doesn't like photos, will you still try to take some?
I approach each child differently depending on their own unique personality and pride myself on working gently and safely. If your child is unsure I'll simply leave their photos until later in the session once they've had chance to watch me work and get used to me being around. Action shots are often the winner here. Feel free to leave me a note about your concerns on the registration form.
Photo week is over. How long do I have to wait to see the photos?
For kinder/childcare portraits it varies depending on the size of the Centre but 1-2 weeks is pretty standard. From there allow another 2 weeks for families to order and a further week for printing/packaging - so around 5 weeks from photo day to delivery.
I’ve missed out on ordering my child’s photos. Can I still purchase them?
Yes! Galleries are removed from the website after orders close but can be reopened upon request. Print products won't be available but you can still purchase digital files. Some Centres and EYM request deletion of files after 3 months so please keep this in mind!
